This is a BIG cabachon of blue goldstone. It has millions of blue & coppery sparkles in it-unfortunately,the light cube I use doesn't show the fiery sparkle, but it's there! I have one of these beauties up for bid in my P&B booth so don't miss out.
Makes me think of Merlin. We have been experiencing a lot of morning hours overcast here at the cottage, and after thursday I'll be getting some very necessary gardening done-it looks like the apricots are ready for picking,so I'll be doing that in addition to getting rid of the many foxtails that are in abundance! (why do weeds grow so much better than the plants you want to do well?) I'm going to be making some rather gothy hair accessories & cell phone charms that will go up in my Etsy store,I'll keep you all posted on that. (they will have handcarved semi precious stone bats in them!) And musically,I finally replaced the machine heads on my mandolin-I've had it a few years now,and the ones it came with were dreadful-made tuning in front of anyone embarrasing as it took so long. The new ones are on now, along with new strings, and it is a dream to play. I'll be getting a new book of Scottish Ren tunes to learn that's just been released. And now off to more adventures......
